Een aantal jaar heeft Lonneke zelf western gereden, vooral recreatief en af en toe op onderlinge wedstrijden. Het is een tak van de paardensport waar haar hart nog altijd sneller van gaat kloppen. De prachtige handgemaakte afwerking, het stoere uiterlijk en vooral de verrassend comfortabele zit maken westernzadels iets wat eigenlijk iedere ruiter eens zou moeten ervaren. Juist daarom is Lonneke ontzettend blij dat zij EDIX westernzadels kan aanbieden aan haar klanten.⁠

De boomloze westernzadels vormen zich mooi naar de rug van het paard en zitten heerlijk comfortabel. Ook voor lange buitenritten zijn ze ideaal. Haar persoonlijke favoriet is de EDIX Equis: gemaakt van sterk leer, maar tegelijkertijd soepel genoeg om prachtig om de pony heen te vallen. Zelfs op de rondste pony’s ligt dit zadel stabiel en fijn.⁠
