Online Consultation

Finding the perfect saddle for both horse and rider is a complex and meticulous process. At EDIX Saddles, we always recommend purchasing a saddle from a reputable EDIX Saddles dealer, preferably with a fitting consultation on site. For customers who do not have access to an EDIX dealer in their area, we offer online consultations. This service ensures that the right saddle choice is made and that it fits optimally.

Fill in the Consultation Form

To start an online consultation, please complete the form on this page. Provide your details, clear photos of your horse, your preferences, and the saddles you are interested in.

This information will be forwarded by EDIX Saddles to the appropriate, carefully selected consultant, which will contact you after the consultation has been paid for.

Payment for the Consultation

An online consultation is a paid service provided by the consultant. The fitting costs will be invoiced before the first appointment. The cost of a fitting via online consultation is €120, with no obligation to purchase a saddle set.

If you decide to purchase a saddle set, including a saddle over €1000, through the online consultation, the fitting fee will be deducted from the total price.

Consultant’s Advice

Based on the information exchanged and photos of the horse, the consultant will provide a recommendation for the most suitable saddle set for both horse and rider.

If the consultant requires additional information, they may opt for a video call to gather more details about the horse and rider.

Quotation and Order

Once the right saddle has been selected, this information is forwarded to EDIX Saddles. We will then send a quotation for the saddle set.

After payment, the saddle can be shipped either from the EDIX warehouse or from the stock of the online consultant.

Online Saddle Fitting

Within 14 days of receiving the saddle set, the online consultant will guide you through the correct fitting of the saddle, saddle pad, and girth. Assistance is provided for adjusting the saddle fit, such as modifying the gullet plates or the inlays of the saddle pad for an optimal fit.

After-Sales Service

It is recommended to perform a check-up 2 to 3 months after purchasing your new saddle. During this online check, the consultant will assess whether the saddle still fits properly, ensuring that both you and your horse continue to enjoy the EDIX saddle to the fullest.

This is an additional service, and the costs may vary depending on the online consultant.

Important Condition

An online fitting consultation can only be requested when purchasing a complete saddle set. The selection of these products influence the saddle fit and need to be recommended by the consultant. A saddle set includes:

  • Saddle
  • Girth
  • Saddle pad
  • Stirrups, stirrup leathers or fenders
