Our journey with EDIX began after trying around 17 to 20 saddles for my mare Awensa, with each attempt ending in disappointment. Her unique conformation made saddle fitting extremely difficult and knowing she was uncomfortable was heartbreaking. With my veterinary background and lots of research into saddle fitting and biomechanics, I realised that a standard saddle would never work for her. When I came across EDIX on an online forum, I instantly felt this might finally be the solution.
To my surprise, there was an EDIX reseller in Latvia and we were able to arrange a trial week. From the very first ride, the difference was clear. Awensa started using her shoulders and back more freely, she relaxed, and her movement improved dramatically. That confirmed for me that this was the right direction, so I purchased the Tudor. Later, we were gifted the Zyba, a classical dressage saddle with the same innovative technology, and it became the perfect match for us.
Since switching to EDIX we have grown tremendously. When we first discovered EDIX, we were competing in FEI Children tests, and now we have progressed all the way to Prix St. George. I truly believe this was made possible in part thanks to the comfort and support EDIX saddles provide. They play a significant role in the horse’s wellbeing and performance, and I am grateful to be part of the EDIX team as an ambassador.
