The EDIX Amira is a versatile saddle that combines comfort, flexibility, and functionality in one elegant design. Developed for riders who enjoy a combination of dressage work, trail riding, and jumping, the Amira offers a stable and comfortable seat without restricting the horse’s freedom of movement.

Thanks to its open seat, mono flap design, and adjustable knee blocks, the Amira feels familiar from the very first ride. Construction

The EDIX Amira is built on the EDIX Flex Tree, which moves with the horse’s back while providing stability and pressure distribution. This creates a comfortable balance between structure and flexibility.

The saddle is crafted from high-quality leather and features a mono flap design, allowing the rider’s leg to lie closer to the horse and enabling more direct communication through the aids. The open seat offers plenty of freedom of movement and makes it easy to switch between disciplines.

The soft panels feature an FC-D + BBP combination, where the drop panels provide additional support behind the shoulder and contribute to stable pressure distribution. This makes the Amira particularly suitable for horses with less muscle development behind the shoulders or those requiring additional support while building topline muscle.

The adjustable knee blocks are attached with Velcro and are supplied with one set of blocks as standard. Alternative block sizes are available separately, allowing the rider to fine-tune the level of support according to personal preference.

The saddle is equipped with three girth straps in combination with a Y-girthing system, ensuring a stable saddle position and even distribution of girth pressure.

Availability

The EDIX Amira all-purpose saddle is standard available in black and brown leather, in sizes S-17", M-17.5", L-18", and XL-18.5". An EDIX dealer will gladly assist you in creating the ideal configuration.

For optimal stability while riding, EDIX recommends using a 3-part anatomical or crescent girth. These girths move with the horse’s breathing and movement, provide even pressure distribution, and relieve pressure on the chest muscles.

We also recommend using the saddle in combination with an EDIX 8-pocket pad. This allows precise adjustment of pressure distribution and balance through the use of shims.
