Description
The EDIX Courville Felt Pad is a versatile pressure-distributing pad designed for use under treeless saddles and bareback pads. Thanks to the combination of felt, synthetic wool, and the well-known EDIX 8-pocket system, the Courville offers extra comfort, stability, and support for both horse and rider.
The Courville is an excellent match with the EDIX Courville, but can also be used under the EDIX Vika all-purpose saddles, EDIX Union, and many other saddles.
Superior Pressure Distribution & Anatomical Fit
The Courville pad is built on a strong felt base, which naturally provides initial pressure distribution and shock absorption. Thanks to its anatomical shape and wither cut-out, extra freedom is created around the withers and spine, contributing to a comfortable saddle position.
The underside is finished with a soft cotton lining, while the separated compartments on both sides create sufficient space along the spine. This helps keep the spinal area free from pressure.
The reinforced section under the rider’s leg is strengthened with nylon to reduce wear and extend the lifespan of the pad.
Flexible Support & Adjustability
The EDIX Courville features the well-known 8-pocket system and comes standard with felt inserts.

• The inside contains 2 large compartments for long inserts
This allows the pressure distribution and balance to be easily adjusted according to the horse’s conformation, muscle development, or the saddle being used. Depending on the need, different types of inserts can be used.
The Velcro straps ensure stable attachment to the saddle.
