Description
The EDIX DR Baroque 8-Pocket Pad is an anatomically shaped pad featuring a versatile 8-pocket system. It is designed to support pressure distribution and provides several options for adjusting the position and balance of the saddle.
Adjustable 8-Pocket System
Four individual inlay pockets are positioned on each side of the spinal channel: one large inner pocket, spanning the whole pad and three smaller toppockets. The pad comes with a complete set of felt inlays as standard. Depending on the horse’s conformation and muscling, the saddle being used and the desired effect, the felt inlays can be combined or replaced with a different type of inlay.
Adjusting the inlays individually can further support pressure distribution and help correct the position or balance of a saddle. If in doubt, have the correct combination and thickness of the inlays assessed by a qualified saddle fitter.
Anatomical Shape and Comfort
The pressure-distributing foam base helps absorb shocks during riding. The anatomically shaped topline, spinal clearance and shaped wither area provide additional space and help keep the pad correctly positioned beneath the saddle. The outer fabric is made from a luxurious velvet cotton-polyester blend. Its baroque shape allows the pad to sit neatly beneath various types of treeless and traditional treed saddles.

Care
Always remove all inlays from the individual pockets and fasten the Velcro closures before washing. The pad can then be machine washed. Always follow the washing instructions on the product label.
