The EDIX ED2 Aurora sidepull bridle is an elegant anatomical bridle, crafted from high-quality Argentine leather. The Aurora combines the proven comfort and anatomical fit of the EDIX ED2 series with a refined appearance thanks to the decorative stitching on the noseband. Comfort-Focused Design
The specially designed anatomical crownpiece ensures complete freedom around the ears, while the optimally positioned throat latch keeps the cheek pieces at a comfortable distance from the horse’s eyes. Both the crownpiece and noseband are softly padded and anatomically shaped to provide maximum comfort.
The crownpiece is adjustable over the horse’s poll, allowing the bridle to be precisely fitted to the individual horse. Thanks to the unique combination of the crownpiece, throat latch, and cheek pieces, the bridle remains stable on the horse’s head without requiring a browband.
The Aurora stands out through its elegant decorative stitching on the noseband, giving the bridle a luxurious and refined appearance without compromising comfort or functionality.
Bridle Functionality
The EDIX ED2 Aurora is a sidepull bridle where the reins are attached directly to rings on either side of the horse’s head.
The sidepull system works through direct pressure and direct release. When the rider engages both reins, pressure is transferred directly to the horse’s nose. As soon as the rider softens or releases the reins, the pressure disappears immediately. This direct release makes the system clear and easy for the horse to understand.
When the right rein is engaged, the bridle lifts slightly away from the horse’s head on the right side, while the left side applies gentle pressure. Combined with correct seat and leg aids, this encourages the horse to bend naturally in the desired direction.
Thanks to the wide, softly padded noseband, pressure is distributed over a larger surface area, making the Aurora a gentle and comfortable bridle for everyday use.
