The EDIX® ED4 Model Classic is an anatomically shaped, bitless bridle that can be combined with various types of hackamore shanks. This bridle forms the foundation of a modular system and can be used as:

EDIX Hack-Q® Bridle – with the original Hack-Q shanks for limited leverage and pre-cue signals

EDIX Halo® Bridle – with Halo shanks for a sidepull effect, optionally with mild leverage via the rings

EDIX Halo Pro® Bridle – with Halo Pro shanks for a combination of sidepull action and leverage through the lower rein slot
This modularity allows you to fully tailor the bridle to suit both your and your horse’s preferences. The Classic model is crafted from high-quality Italian leather and combines a traditional appearance with a technical fit.
Comfort-Focused Design
The EDIX® ED4 Model Classic is designed with the horse’s comfort as the highest priority. The anatomical crownpiece is softly padded and shaped to avoid pressure on sensitive areas such as the ears and the TMJ joint. Thanks to its technical fit, a browband is unnecessary, leaving the front of the horse’s head completely free. The low and stable throat latch helps maintain a secure position of the bridle without restricting natural jaw movement. Additionally, the cheek pieces are designed for stability, even when using shanks. Every element of this bridle contributes to a secure fit and horse-friendly communication.
