EDIX Grand eventing saddle

The EDIX Grand eventing saddle is a luxurious and high-quality saddle, specially developed for riders seeking maximum support, stability, and close contact during eventing and jumping. Thanks to the combination of the well-known EDIX Flex Tree construction, a sporty mono flap design, and substantial thigh support, the Grand offers confidence, freedom of movement, and control, even during the most demanding rides.

The half-open seat provides the rider with optimal freedom of movement, while the adjustable thigh blocks offer extra stability and support in technical situations.

Construction

The EDIX Grand is built on the renowned EDIX Flex Tree, made from PBP (Plastic Blended Polymer). This flexible tree moves with the horse’s back and combines flexibility with stability and pressure distribution.

The saddle is crafted from high-quality Belgian soft leather, combined with luxurious printed Gavanie leather on the saddle flap. This combination gives the saddle an exclusive appearance, excellent grip, and a supple riding feel.

Thanks to the mono flap design, the rider’s leg lies closer to the horse, resulting in refined aids and more direct contact.

The Grand is equipped with a drop panel, providing stable and even pressure distribution, especially for horses with moderate muscle development behind the shoulders. The wide spinal channel offers sufficient clearance for the spine and supports free movement of the back.

Availability

The EDIX Grand eventing saddle is standard available in black and brown leather, in sizes S-17", M-17.5", and L-18". An EDIX dealer will gladly assist you in creating the right configuration.

For optimal stability while riding, EDIX recommends using a 3-part anatomical or crescent girth. These girths move with the horse’s breathing and movement, provide even pressure distribution, and relieve pressure on the chest muscles.

We also recommend using the saddle in combination with an EDIX 8-pocket pad. This allows precise adjustment of pressure distribution and balance through the use of shims.
