Your sheepskin product is naturally fed with lanolin, a natural sheepskin grease. This grease ensures that your sheepskin product can last for years with simple and regular maintenance. Keep in mind all cleaning products extract this grease from the skin and wool fibers.
It is therefore absolutely essential to use a special leather and wool detergent for washing your valuable sheepskin saddlepad. Any simple wool detergent will irreparably damage the product by removing this fat from your product. The right detergent will wash and at the same time feed your sheepskin with essential grease. EDIX® has produced its own the leather and wool detergent in Germany, made of 100% natural ingredients, available in recyclable bottles of 500ml, which has the necessary restoring properties. Because EDIX® sheepskin detergent is an ecological wool and leather detergent with lanolin and it is suitable for all types of wool, silk and washable sheepskins. The detergent feels a bit greasy due to the lanolin which is added, this ingredient makes sure that besides maintaining your sheepskin article, the wool fibres stay water and dirt-repellent.
EDIX sheepskin detergent contains a softener for all temperatures and water harnesses. And is composed of ingredients as coconut oil, plant lubricant soap and dextrorotatory lactic acid, to prevent lime deposits and to neutralize the pH value. This makes the product very skin-friendly and as well suitable for vegans.
One bottle contains 500 ml, suitable for 25 washes (20 ml / wash). 1 cap = 30 ml, the cap can be placed in the drum with the detergent and washed with it. In that way, the cap and bottle stay nice and clean!
