The EDIX Courville is a beautifully crafted, versatile treeless saddle made from premium nubuck and soft leather. Thanks to its adaptable design, the Courville is EDIX’s best-selling treeless model: perfect for long trail rides, dressage schooling, and even the occasional jump.
With its interchangeable style elements, you can easily create your own look. Choose a western appearance with wide leather fenders, a western pad, pommel with horn, and leather strings, or opt for a classic English style with stirrup leathers and high-quality stainless steel safety stirrups. Construction
The Courville is built with the EDIX® MPDS – Multiple Pressure Distribution System, consisting of soft, flexible, pressure-distributing layers. This design provides optimal protection for your horse’s back while allowing the saddle to fully adapt to both the horse’s anatomy and the rider’s seat.
The interchangeable fiberglass pommel makes the saddle suitable for both high and low withers. The high-density foam cantle is adjustable with Velcro, so you can perfectly tailor it to the rider. By adding a cantle cushion, the saddle can even be adjusted down by a full seat size – ideal when the saddle is shared between riders.
The saddle is equipped with knee pockets that can hold knee blocks. If you prefer riding without them, the pockets can be easily closed with the supplied Velcro covers. The special construction of the saddle keeps the spine completely free and allows it to follow the horse’s movements, helping horse and rider to move as one.

Availability
The EDIX® Courville is available in black and brown, in sizes S-15", M-17", and L-19". Your EDIX dealer will be happy to help you assemble the perfect combination.
For optimum stability during riding, EDIX recommends a 3-part anatomical girth or crescent girth. These girths move with the horse’s breathing and movement, ensure even pressure distribution, and relieve the chest muscles.
We also recommend using the saddle in combination with an EDIX 8-pocket pad, which allows precise adjustment of pressure distribution and balance with the use of shims.
