EDIX Tudor Kids dressage saddle

The EDIX Tudor Child is a stylish and supportive soft tree dressage saddle, specially designed for young riders who seek comfort and balance in their riding experience. Construction

Crafted from supple, high-quality Turkish calf leather or synthetic leather-like materials, the saddle features mono flaps for close contact. The anatomically shaped panels are filled with synthetic wool and can easily be refilled when needed. With its wide gullet channel, the Tudor ensures complete spinal clearance and even pressure distribution across the pony’s back.

A replaceable gullet plate system offers sufficient wither clearance and allows for adjustments as the pony’s physique changes. The front girth straps are attached directly to the panels, improving saddle stability. The stirrup bar is slightly set back, promoting a natural leg position and relieving pressure on the rider’s knees.

The knee rolls can be freely positioned within generous Velcro pockets. Riders can choose from small, large, or short rolls to find the perfect support for their preferences. The EDIX Y-girthing system with two front straps and a third Y-strap ensures a secure and balanced fit, tailored to the pony’s conformation.

Availability

The EDIX Tudor Child is available in brown or black leather, in seat sizes 14” and 15”. A black synthetic version is also available.

Due to its extensive adjustability, EDIX recommends purchasing this saddle in consultation with an official EDIX dealer or saddle fitter. They can advise on the most suitable panels for your pony, as well as the best shape and placement of the knee rolls. The final fit and saddle stability should always be checked by the dealer.

For optimal stability while riding, EDIX advises using a 3-part anatomical or crescent girth. These girths move with the pony’s breathing and movement, distribute pressure evenly, and relieve the chest muscles.

We also recommend combining the saddle with an EDIX 8-pocket pad. This allows precise adjustment of pressure and balance through the use of shims.
