The EDIX® Refine long reins are developed for riders who value precision, softness, and balance during long reining. This discipline offers a unique way to train your horse from the ground: in connection, without physical strain, and with attention to biomechanics and harmony. From young horses in training to experienced horses in rehabilitation or advanced schooling, long reining is suitable for every level.
The EDIX Refine lines are carefully crafted to create a direct yet soft connection between the rider’s hand and the horse. They combine supple English leather with strong, lightweight PP rope, and feature high-quality brass hardware for both durability and elegant design.
Construction and materials
The Refine reins are made from two materials:

Front section: supple English leather (½ inch wide)

Rear section: 10 mm polypropylene rope (light, flexible, and easy to handle)
The transition between leather and rope is smooth and securely finished. Equipped with brass conway buckles for length adjustment and brass spring clips for easy attachment. This combination of materials provides optimal control without unnecessary weight or friction.
